This parent visa lets a parent to settle in Australian with eligible relatives to live with their children indefinitely. This visa also allows parents to work and study in Australia.
Parents must meet the balance-of-family test which are:
- at least half of your children and step-children are eligible children, or
- there are more eligible children living in Australia than in any other single country
Under this visa, parents are elegible to receive health insurance and travel in and out as many times as they want, sponsor your family members to come to Australia and apply for Australian citizenship, if eligible.
